Disclaimer:
We guarantee that all product designs are original works independently created by our in-house designers. Any resemblance to real persons is coincidental. We are only responsible for the design, production, operation, and sales of our products, ensuring full compliance with regulations. How customers use MOZU DOLL products is their personal responsibility. We are not liable for any actions or incidents arising from such use.
MOZU DOLL products may not be used for commercial events, promotional materials, film/TV productions, or any activities that damage the brand image or violate national laws. We reserve the right to pursue legal action against such activities.
Dolls are made of TPE, silicone, or MozuTPE (MTPE). Production may involve white oil, talcum powder, or cornstarch. Users with allergies should test materials before use.We are not responsible for allergic reactions.
TPE or MTPE Materials:As thermoplastic materials, TPE or MTPE should be kept away from high-temperature heat sources. Improper use or exposure to unsuitable environments may cause the doll to melt or catch fire. Our company shall not be liable for any consequences arising from such incidents.
Silicone Material:Silicone is a thermosetting material and cannot be remelted or reprocessed at high temperatures. However, excessively high temperatures may still cause deformation, discoloration, or other issues. Keep away from high-temperature heat sources. Our company shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from such exposure.
Doll Skeleton:The doll’s skeleton features a locking mechanism. After posing the doll, you mustreset it by reversing the posing sequence step-by-step. For example, if you posed it in Sequence 1→2→3, reset it in Sequence 3→2→1. Failure to do so may easily damage the skeleton. Such damage is not covered under warranty.
Natural State Pose (Storage Pose):This refers to the flat, lying position in which the doll arrives in its packaging box. In this state, stress on the doll’s body is minimized, reducing the risk of damage. Note:Rotate the doll regularly(e.g., turn to its side or back every few days) to avoid prolonged pressure on one area. Extended pressure may cause irreversible deformation (e.g., flattened buttocks from lying flat too long).Store the doll on a soft, wrinkle-free surface. For details, consult customer service.
Non-Natural Poses (Display Poses):These include any altered poses (e.g., bent elbows, knees). Similar to how shoe soles withstand bends beyond 90° without breaking due to flexibility, doll materials also tolerate temporary posing without tearing. However, maintaining such poses for extended periods (>1 week) risks permanent deformation due to material fatigue.
Recommendation:Regularly adjust display poses for dolls in use. For idle dolls, reset to the natural pose and store properly.
Special Precautions:
1.Pose Limitations
Subject to the inherent properties of the materials, we cannot expect it to exceed material limitations. You acknowledge and agree that this product itself is a consumable item, not wear-proof alloy or corrosion-resistant material. It has its own reasonable material limits and service life.
①TPE Material has elasticity and tensile strength but still has limitations. Do not make the doll perform excessively wide-angle movements or maintain unnatural poses for too long; otherwise, it may cause surface tearing.
②MTPE Material has elasticity and tensile strength, with better tear resistance than ordinary TPE. However, it still has limitations, especially being softer in texture. Avoid contact with sharp objects, and do not make the doll perform excessively wide-angle movements or maintain unnatural poses for too long; otherwise, it may cause surface tearing.
③Silicone Material has better durability and toughness than TPE or MTPE but is harder to repair once damaged. Do not make the doll perform excessively wide-angle movements or maintain unnatural poses for too long; otherwise, it may still damage the silicone.
Note:Damage to TPE/MTPE above can be repaired due to their thermoplastic properties. The principle is to remelt the damaged area with a soldering iron, filling or replacing it with new uncured TPE/MTPE material, followed by recoating. This usually leaves no repair marks (unless the damage is extremely severe or the wound is large). Silicone is difficult to remelt and is generally repaired by using new uncured silicone as glue to bond and fill the damaged area, which will inevitably leave "repair marks." Please acknowledge and understand this.
- Odor
TPE and MTPE are thermoplastic elastomer, while silicone is silicone rubber. Both materials may emit a slight rubber odor, which is harmless to humans. This odor typically dissipates within 1 day to 1 week.
Heads with makeup are generally made of TPE, MTPE, silicone, or plastic (PVC). Plastic heads are usually odorless when shipped from the factory.
Packaging materials (cardboard boxes, bubble bags, EPE foam, non-woven fabric, plastic bags, sealing tape, labels, etc.) are custom-made or purchased from compliant sources. These materials may carry inherent or processing-related odors. If you wish to retain packaging, store it properly.
- Cleaning
When cleaning the doll, prevent water ingress at the head connector. If water enters, it is difficult to drain and may cause internal frame corrosion. Prolonged trapped water may also produce odors. Seal the connector with tape or plastic wrap, or cover it with a dry towel during cleaning.
Do not vigorously rub the skin during cleaning, as this may cause peeling or tearing. Pay attention to the properties of body wash or cleansers used;never use organic solvents (e.g., alcohol, paint thinner).
After washing:Wrap the doll in a towel and gently pat dry (do not wipe forcefully to avoid surface scratches).Apply official protective powder or commercially available baby powder/talcum powder over the entire body for protection.
- Standing
If the doll has a standing function, certain steps must be followed: ensure the feet are completely flat on the ground and shoes are worn, otherwise the soles may be damaged. Dolls without standing function must never stand. Damage caused by forced standing is considered human-induced damage .
Generally, the standing function of a doll refers to adding three standing nails to the soles of the feet. For silicone dolls, an optional nail-free standing feature with reinforced soles can be purchased. These additional configurations ensure that when the soles bear weight, the skeleton will not puncture them. After adjusting the center of gravity, the doll can theoretically stand without support. However, we strongly advise customers who have not yet mastered the adjustment method to use standing brackets, chairs, tables, walls, or other supports to assist standing. Please note:Damage caused by falls due to unstable standing is considered human-induced damage.
- Poses and Fingers
When posing the doll or operating its joints, strictly follow the instructions in the manual. The skeleton is primarily made of metal; metallic friction sounds during movement are normal. The doll's fingers are relatively fragile, and the skin is thin—shadows of fingers may be visible through the skin, which is a normal condition.
- Heads with Makeup
When touching soft edges of the doll's head with makeup, such as corners of the mouth or eyes, please handle carefully; excessive force may easily cause tearing. When selecting jelly lips for the doll, it is equally important to prevent tearing of the jelly lips.
- Shipping
Due to unavoidable bumps during transportation, minor scuffs on body makeup or skin may occasionally occur. Such instances are incidental and unavoidable, thus not considered defects. For extremely severe damage, you may cooperate with us to provide relevant materials to file claims with the shipping carrier or courier company.
- Keep Away from Excessive Heat Sources
TPE is a thermoplastic material; keep away from high-temperature heat sources to avoid irreversible deformation. When using on heating mats or heated beds, monitor the temperature closely. For first-time use of heating rods, follow the instructions to measure the time required to reach a comfortable temperature, preventing overheating that may damage the channel. Our company shall not be liable for any damage or accidents resulting from such use.
9.Doll Limb Range of Motion:
Exceeding movement angles may cause skin tearing or skeleton fracture. Miniature dolls require extra caution due to lightweight skeletons. Strictly observe the following joint limits:
①Head:
The movement range of the doll's head, front, back, left, and right, should not exceed 45 degrees.
②Shoulders and upper arms:
The upper limbs of the doll can be raised about 60 degrees forward and 5-10 degrees backward. The upper limbs can be raised horizontally on both sides to be level with the chest, about 60 degrees in both directions. When retracting the upper arm towards the inner side of the body (chest hugging motion), it should not exceed the chest, about 15 degrees on the inner side.
③Forearm and wrist:
The doll's forearm can rotate 90 degrees in one direction. The wrist of the doll is bent up and down, with a rotation angle of 45 degrees each. The forearm can rotate at a 60 degree limit.
④Waist:
The waist of the Mozu Doll can be horizontally bent in a left and right direction, with an angle limit of 30 degrees. The angle limit for forward and backward bending (bending and chest lifting movements) is 40 degrees. When rotating the body in the left and right directions (twisting the waist), the angle is limited to 40 degrees. When the waist is bent and rotated simultaneously, the angles in each direction are superimposed, limiting it to half. Example: Bend to the left while twisting, limiting the angle to a maximum of 20 degrees in each direction.
⑤Hips and thighs:
The thighs of the Mozu Doll can be parted up to 120 degrees on both sides, and a single leg split can lift the leg up to 90 degrees.
But we do not recommend separating the thighs of the doll too much, as this action can cause excessive tension on the doll, which can easily cause damage and breakage. Our recommended safety angles are: the thighs should be separated from each other by a maximum of 50 degrees, the inner side should not exceed 15 degrees from the vertical line of the body, and the maximum angle for lifting a single leg upwards should not exceed 80 degrees. Bend backwards no more than 15 degrees above the vertical line of the body.
⑥Knee and ankle joints:
The maximum backward angle of the calf is 110 degrees, and the recommended angle is 90 degrees. The calf has a mechanical limit and cannot bend forward. The ankle can rotate up and down at a total angle of 45 degrees and cannot be rotated excessively.
⑦Channels:
The design of the product channel takes into account functionality and human body average dimensions (specific corresponding channel lengths can be inquired with customer service), but it is still constrained by the product's own size and material limitations (MTPE has the highest toughness, followed by TPE and silicone). During use, ample lubrication must be applied, expansion and entry should be performed slowly, and forceful/violent expansion or tearing is strictly prohibited. The channel is inherently a consumable item with its own finite service life, specifically depending on usage frequency and conditions.
- Surface Maintenance
①Doll Skin Care Instructions:
MoZu Dolls may experience surface oil seepage after prolonged storage, which can attract dust and stains. Gently wipe the surface with a sponge or towel dampened with warm water. For stubborn dirt, use body wash and repeat wiping—do not apply excessive force or use coarse sponges/towels (microfiber eyeglass cloth is recommended) to avoid peeling or tearing. Once completely dry, apply included maintenance powder or substitute with baby powder. Maintenance frequency varies by usage and storage conditions; once per month is recommended.
②Coating & Makeup Maintenance:
Factory-applied coatings (powder/spray) use safe, specialized products. Due to material adhesion limits, coatings and makeup may gradually fade with use, cleaning, or time. Contact customer service for touch-up guidance or services.
③Channel Cleaning Method:
Insert included cleaner (filled with water) into the channel and rinse repeatedly until clean.
Absorb most moisture with a towel/tissue.
Place a diatomaceous mud drying rod in the channel to remove residual dampness.※ Critical : Ensure thorough dryness to prevent mold growth.
- Doll Storage Environment
A proper storage environment effectively prevents aging of the doll's skin and internal components, significantly extending its service life.
①Avoid Prolonged Sun Exposure
②Keep Away from Humid Environments
③Prevent Crushing:When storing, avoid compressing the doll. Long-term compression may cause deformation. Never place heavy objects on the doll.
④Store in Default Factory Pose:For long-term storage, reset the doll to its natural state pose (as originally packed).
- Clothing and Dressing Precautions
The doll’s limbs are movable but have limited range of motion. When dressing the model, please note the following:
①Anti-sticking with Maintenance Powder
The TPE surface may be slightly sticky. Wipe it with maintenance powder or baby powder before dressing.
②Prevent Excessive Limb Bending
Avoid twisting limbs excessively when dressing. Strictly follow the safe angles specified in the Limb Range of Motionguidelines.
③Dress After Removing the Head
For tops and some clothing items, first remove the head before dressing.
④Avoid Scratches
Do not wear clothing or accessories with sharp edges, which may tear the skin. If clothing has sharp buttons or chain accessories, exercise caution during dressing.
⑤Modifying the Doll Body
When attaching earrings or other accessories to TPE, MTPE, or silicone heads, use wires or needles to pierce holes in the ears/body, but do not exceed a 0.5mm diameter. Knives or sharp objects are prohibited for cutting. Never pull on earrings, body rings, or nails after wearing to prevent soft material rupture. For any additions/modifications to the doll body, prioritize personal safety. Any modifications causing damage to the doll body will void free after-sales service for the modified area, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted for unsatisfactory modifications. Note: This clause serves as a friendly reminder for customers needing doll modifications. It does not encourage or induce such modifications, and the company shall not be liable for any issues arising from modifications.
⑥Proper Clothing Fit
Do not wear overly tight clothing, as prolonged compression may cause the doll body to peel, crack, or deform. Specialized doll clothing is required for some non-standard body type dolls. Note: MoZu Doll body types are constantly updated. Some doll clothes may not fit newly released body types. Overly tight clothing remains unsuitable for long-term wear; specific inquiries can be directed to customer service.
⑦Stain Prevention
Do not place the doll on artificial leather or dyed leather seats for extended periods. Avoid dressing the doll in dark-colored clothing for long durations; opt for light-colored or white garments instead. If specific costumes are needed for photography or other shoots, have the doll wear underwear, and still avoid prolonged use—remove dark-colored attire promptly after completing the shoot.
Note that official ceremonial attire is designed with aesthetic considerations in mind, often using dark-colored fabrics. Due to limitations in available market fabrics, these costumes cannot fully prevent staining. We generally add a lining treatment to the inner side in direct contact with the doll's skin, but contact with dark-colored materials on the garment's surface may still cause staining. Please follow the anti-staining instructions for use, or dress the doll in stain-resistant clothing.
13.Manufacturing Process and Doll Marking Explanation
For TPE or MTPE dolls:The manufacturing process for TPE or MTPE involves mixing TPE/MTPE pellets, color powder, and white oil, then heating and extruding the mixture via an extruder into molds. Due to potential incomplete dissolution of pellets, uneven coloration by color powder, or localized overheating causing discoloration, fine scars or black spots may appear—these do not affect aesthetics or functionality. During TPE/MTPE infusion, minor impurities, small air bubbles, or blemishes may occur in the doll; these are non-impactful to appearance and use.MoZu Dolls feature positioning mark traces of varying sizes at each joint. While we strive to minimize these traces during trimming, they are inevitable outcomes of the skeletal positioning process—normal process flow and inherent to finished products, not considered defects.
For silicone dolls: The manufacturing process involves mixing silicone AB compound and color powder, then injecting the mixture into molds. Similar to TPE/MTPE, incomplete dissolution of particles, uneven coloring, or localized overheating may result in fine scars or black spots. Silicone infusion may also cause minor impurities, small air bubbles, or blemishes in the doll; these do not affect aesthetics or functionality.MoZu Dolls have positioning mark traces at each joint. While we attempt to reduce these during trimming, they are inevitable results of the skeletal positioning process—normal process flow and inherent to finished products, not considered defects.
14.After-Sales Service Explanation
Thank you for purchasing MoZu products. By making a purchase, you acknowledge awareness of the product characteristics (softness, material limitations, odor, etc.) and agree to the above maintenance procedures. You shall not raise unreasonable after-sales requests based on these factors (e.g., intolerance to odor, dissatisfaction with softness, or claiming foot sole damage from forced standing as a quality issue).
For specific after-sales policies, please consult the legally authorized agent in your region.
